We participated in the expansion of the Viacha cement production plant, a large-scale multiple project. Our team was responsible for the design of several areas, including a metal roof for the raw materials warehouse, conveyor belt systems, stacker, reclaimer and retaining walls..

 

The jewel of this extension is undoubtedly the metal roof, a structure remarkable for its engineering and dimensions. Built with 15 tri-articulated metal frames, this roof has a hyperbolic cosine guideline, with a span of 58 meters, a length of 156 meters and a height of 30 meters, covering an area of approximately 9,000 m². It is so large that it could house a soccer field without any problems!
