FAQ on Pathology and Repair

It is the study of the deficiencies, damage or design problems of an existing structure, in order to diagnose its condition and propose solutions.
It unfolds in three phases: structural diagnosis, repair design and execution (which we can supervise).
Crack surveys, on-site and laboratory tests, damage and fracture simulation (FEM and XFEM), structural verification and a review of the existing documentation.
It is not mandatory. The repairs can be carried out by another firm, and if the client wishes we can supervise that work.
A pathology report with proposed solutions and, in the design phase, repair drawings, quantity take-offs, budget and technical specifications.
