The Banco de Crédito Building (BCP) stands out for its striking architecture, with transparent windows that reveal the structure. It has 14 floors and a built area of 8,500 m², in La Paz.
Its main structural feature is the 15 cm thick post-tensioned concrete slabs, with 9-meter spans between supports and 2-meter cantilevers on the façade.
Our work consisted of the structural calculation, optimization and design, as well as the construction supervision, led by PhD MSc Eng. Mario Galindo Queralt.
We design, calculate and verify structures in Bolivia and abroad, in person or remotely.
