After a column burst, 25 columns repaired and 800 people back home.
The El Alcázar Building is made up of two 26-floor towers and 84 apartments, with around 30,000 m² built, in La Paz.
In late 2012, a column burst, which put the building at risk of collapse and forced the evacuation of around 800 people for a year.
During that time we carried out the pathology study of the structure and the repair of 25 columns spread across 4 basement levels, restoring the building's safety.
We design, calculate and verify structures in Bolivia and abroad, in person or remotely.
