The expansion of the Viacha Cement Plant (SOBOCE) has as its jewel its metal roof, a structure notable for its engineering and its dimensions.
The roof was resolved with 15 three-hinged steel frames following a hyperbolic-cosine profile, spanning 58 meters, with a length of 156 meters and a height of 30 meters, to cover nearly 9,000 m². It is so large it could comfortably hold a football pitch.
